All students have Google Apps for Education (GAFE) accounts. It is hosted online by Google, but managed by the Public Schools of Brookline. Unlike consumer Google accounts, this managed environment allows Brookline to provide appropriate access to tools and settings to help our students grow as digital citizens.
Students and staff are able to use collaborative tools such as Google Drive and Google Slides to create documents, presentations, and sites from any Internet connected device at school or home.
The nitty-gritty:
Student log in: year of high school graduation, last name, first initial @PSBMA.org ([email protected]). While this looks like an email account, it is not.
Password: Students created a personal password that they should remember, but I kept a record of all their passwords. If your student forgets their password, please email me.
Saving: Google docs auto saves.
